SAILS (Supported Academics and Independent Life Skills) is designed to help Seattle Central College students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning differences.
SAILS is a program under Mainstay at Seattle Central College.
Mainstay has been providing employment support services in the Seattle area for over 30 years. For the past several years, we’ve taken the knowledge and skills we’ve gained through that experience and applied them to academic support services for students diagnosed with Learning Disabilities on the campus of Seattle Central College
Mainstay is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) for employment planning services, job development, job support, and job-site training. SAILS works in partnership with Mainstay to assist SAILS students with obtaining internships and competitive employment when they are ready to do so.
